no... but I did take on board your suggestion of putting the garlic/spices in with the onion in the initial cook... also in it is a smoked pork sausage, 1 red pepper (would have put a green in as well, but used it the other night) and some shredded parsley.. and various other bits that I didn't look at as I ripped em out of the cupboard and lashed em into the sauce..

    Zak33's system
nice food........yumster...needs fresh parmesan on it (NOT that dried stuff that smells like vomit.....real parmesan....or pecorino )

    Good work Tumble....

here's something to try next time....

get one packet of ready salted crisps........puncture bag with small hole and then crush the living hell outta the crisps........

mix it with the pasta...then serve as before....if its nice and fine, the crunchness of the crisps makes it..YUMMY!

    try different flavours too.......it works!

You'd be ahrd pushed to find dried parmesan anywhere now... Waitrose, Sainsbury's and Safeway no longer stock it... YAY for consumer powah!

Nice one man good to see you are trying stuff out, it doesn't take much to produce nice food, keeping it simple is a good tip at the start, like anything, eventually you will get the confidence to do more and more adventurous stuff.
