Anyway, like many things, coffee is a taste that comes with age usually. Your tastes mature. I hated it up until about 21. Now i absolutely love the stuff. I did not try to train myself, just picked up a mug one day after not touching it for a few years and though wow, this is great. Loads of thing i like now and loads of thing i hate now that I loved as a kid.

Seriously though, how do you normally have it? Milk and two? Black with nothing?

The other point is, if you don't like it, don't feel you HAVE to drink it.

I hate rice pudding, and there's no way on earth I'm ever going to try to like it.

    [Off Topic]
Is this tinned rice pudding or the proper home-make stuff with egg custard and lemon etc?

It's called "Americano" now - but don't worry - they'll look at you strangely for asking for a medium or large as well. It's their fault if they use two different languages for their menus

Remember being in Venice and overhearing a conversation between two American women. They were complaining about headaches they'd got after having a coffee that morning. They'd asked for a coffee and been given these expensive tiny cups...

Now go away before I taunt you a second time.

Sounds really weird but Bio lesson today, we spent a whole 45 mins drinking coffee and testing our reaction times. I thought I would try some coffee... did... liked it. One level black, no sugar. A few things to see atw when I get home... real coffee (prob. not)... but anywho I didn't like Kenco when I tried it a few months back... I think this was NesCaf.

Went to Starbucks with some friends this afternoon had a white chocolate mocha with cream.... delicious

Kenco is proper rank mate, almost as bad as that powdered maxwell house! The nescafe blend 37 is a really nice, richer instant that you'll probably enjoy.... until you get a cappuchino machine

    p.s. Welcome to the club!!!

I don't like coffee or tea either. If I require an energy boost via a stimulant, there are far more efficient alternatives (legal of course) that aren't addictive, nor do they leave you with the breath of a pensioner who hasn't eaten a humbug in 3 years.

I used to drink coffee when I worked in a bakery on saturday mornings. I'd get in from the clubs at about 4am, off to work at 6am, then work through until 2pm. 3 teaspoons of Nescafé (a type that they don't seem to make anymore... think it began with a J), 3 teaspoons of sugar, no milk. Kept me going in that freezer, I tell you.

i find coffee to be an aquired taste, when i first had it i hated it but now i love it, i think the more you drink the more you get to like it.

when i first started drinking it i couldn't put milk in it because i found it to be too bitter so i used coffee whitner instead, it gives it a sweeter creamier taste than milk does, now im milk and two sugers

I drink tea prettymuch all the time. The odd vending machine coffee at work or a filter coffee after a meal. Else I don't touch it. Like a double espresso now & again if i'm shopping with the mrs.

Tea, teaspoon of honey. Bliss. (Milk in tea is wrong)

Coffee with either cream or creamy milk for me

Saying that, my coffee intake has now decreased from "severe" cups a day to nearly 3-5 cups depending on what I'm doing.

Maybe its down to being to busy to use the fresh coffee machine

Used to drink loads of coffee, but I'm cutting down now.

And anyway, Matt1eD does like coffee now - he's trained himself.
