    Innocent Smoothies half price

I've babbled on about Innocent Smoothies in other threads, but this deserves a thread of its own.

Innocent Smoothies are half price at Tesco (at least, they are in Stockport Tesco Extra anyway, i'm assuming it's in all other stores)

I was going in to get one anyway, and i went up to the shelf and when I saw the stickers, uncontrollably went "YES! HALF PRICE!", bewildering the hell out of some poor woman stood next to me

If you've not tried these, NOW is the time to do so.

Don't buy the one with coconut in it - buy the mango + banana one.

I generally get Innocent Smoothies from Boots as part of their meal deal offer - £3.30 for sarnie, drink and snack... after £2.50 on the sarnie, that makes it just 80p for the smoothie and a brownie... bargain. I don't buy them otherwise - it's just too high a price tag for a drink that size (it's barely a mouthful)

I always get the one with coconut in it and the Detox one (the large packs). Very expensive but totally irresistable. I think they're something like £3.99 for the litre packs. I can easily get through a litre in a day.

Will try the mango and banana one next time.

Are they the ones that are mainly apple juice? I'm sure when I checked the ingredients it put me off. Not sure which ones I buy, probably Sainsbury's own brand, but I love the Strawberry and Bannana one. Orange and Mango smoothie is nice too.

Just make them its soo much cheaper and takes about three seconds. the hand blender thingys are about fiver and the cheapest way is to buy fresh and canned fruit. eg tinned mango as to prepare and buy it takes time and money, use fruit juice as well as cheap fruit like bananas. I make one very morning. here is my favourite, which is quite sour but lovely

    1 tin mango
1 lime, juice and grated rind
    tbsp lemon juice
5 tbsp natural yoghurt....just put in blender and drink

the good thing is if its for more than one person just add as much juice as you need.

I find that you get a good smoothie using milk or cream plus yoghurt, some fruit juice, a banana, and whatever fruit you want to use. Apart from the banana, I generally use tinned fruit for speed and storage - tinned peaches or tinned strawberries work well.

Hilarious. I'm gonna have to go buy some just to read the others.

These are absolutely gorgeous, no matter what flavour you get.

If you cannot get to tesco, go get a meal deal from Tesco (the green meal deal) and you can get these drinks, and it is great value, and superb taste!

Yum Yum (also some funny strange stories as well)

Mine says Triangles are good. They remind us of toberlone, tents and maths lessons where you got to measure the hypotense and the magic 3-4-5 triangle
