The ultimate n00b kitchen tool...

... I wasn't sure where to put this in the end!

I've been being creative today, and getting my hands dirty.

I'd like to present Bob... who started all this mania..



Bob started his life as a lowly prop plant, working in retail... his mother worked long hours to help him to grow... a nice retail assistant had the job of keeping him and his friends watered. One christmas, the retail assistant left work, and took baby bob home with her. Bob was only an inch long.

The retail assistant planted him in a little pot all of his own and he grew and grew... until he got too big and started falling over. So bob was given a new shiney pot in which he could grow properly.

Four years later and bob is now 2 feet high and still growing.

Bob is now the proud father of lots of little bobs... some of which require new homes, instead of throwing them on the compost, i decided to plant a load back into another pot.



Seriously, Aloe Vera is excellent for burns (esp sunburn) and cuts and bruises, just lop a leaf off and smother the goo on. All organic, no horrible chemicals. Takes the tinyest bit of care, even non-plant people like me can grow them. Water when you remember, and try to get them to have some sun whenever you can.

I'm not a plant person, but I'm proud of my Aloes... they're all over the house.

i see you aren't very good in the kitchen, your memory seems to also be going. i wonder if that is something you can treat with aloe.

Honestly, no horrible chemicals, god damnit. Where do you think the most horrible chemicals are found? Why must you only eat certain parts of robarb? Why is Deadly Night shade, not called Life giving day light?

On topic thou, two best things to have for burns (my mum has an agar, it gets me every time i go back home n cook something) lavander oil + Wasp Ease.

Wasp ease is magic stuff, it cools it quickly, helping the skin heal, and numbs it too. Best stuff ever imo. Oh, containes nasty chemicals (nice to know that what ur using has been subjected to quality control).

I wouldn't call Aloe a kitchen tool, but it's usefulness is undeniable.

The one thing I couldn't live without in the kitchen is a good quality knife. Indespensable tbh.

It's just I ran a kitceh a while ago where a guy pulled a tray of jacket spuds out of the oevn, walked the lenght of the kitchen wth them in his hands and then realised he didnt use any oven gloves or an oven cloth.

He was burnt so bad his fingers were bleeding...
