microwaves
hi all, has anyone got any recommendations on a good quality but cheap microwave that i can buy?
i dont mind if its a turn dial one cuz i want it mainly for quick meals and doing rice and stuff cheers |

for about £30 u can pickup a decent microwave from most highstreets. depends what features and size u want. i got a Samsung simple to use silver microwave for £29.99 does what it says on the tin

Have a look in Argos/Dixons/Currys. I just bought an LG microwave. Dont think it cost that much, but its well nifty, and its silver too with a metal casing.
You can get fairly dirt cheap ones, but sometimes it's worth paying that little bit extra to make sure you get a microwave which will last. |

We've got one, but I've not used in years, never had the need tbh. But you get what you pay for up to a point. at that price point it's all going to be a git samey. All I would say is watch the capapcity as not all micro's are created equal.

The Sharp one I bought in 1995 packed up last year or I replaced it as it was looking a bit battered - can't remember.
Now using a Sanyo but not as quick good as the Sharp. No one button start on it. Would recommend you spend a bit extra rather than buying a £30 (Daewoo or other cheap make) one from the supermarket. |
