    Hexus.Coctails

Getting near chrimbo, so party season is starting in earnest. This generally entails getting well hammered, and to this end it's time to post your fave coctails to get into the christmas 'spirit'

    My personal fave

Absinthe Minded (Variation on the Wildemule)

    1 Shot Sebor (Absinthe)
    1 Shot Stoli (Voddy)
    Pour over Ice
    Twist of Lemon &/or Lime
Top up with either Lucosade, Redbulll of Ginger Beer.

Have tried working tequilla into the mix, but the only way to make it paletable is to get so hammered as not to care

This is a shot rather than a cocktial, but its my favourite:

    Gran Marnier
    Baileys
Tia Maria or Kahula (epending on how rich you are feeling)

If you pour it well, it ends up in layers... set light to it, then down it with a straw (quick before the straw melts!)... or just drink it... taste lovely either way

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

The lot of you sure do make complicated messes. Just give me some gin, tonic water, and some limes and I'll leave you alone for the night

Only joking, don't know if any of you have heard of DrunkenFun a java program for the mobile phone that teaches you to mix cocktails.

    Woohoo now Assistant Manager!

Sure you all know these but here goes anyway:

Turbo shandy - Small bottle of smirnoff Ice + half pint of Stella
Super Turbo Shandy - 2 shots of vodka, small bottle smirnoff ice, half pint of stella

    One for the girls:

Blue Wicked, Clear Smirnoff Ice and Orange Bacardi Breezer with loads of ice...

    PS. Turbo shandys rock!

Not exactly cocktails but taste good i think....

    1 shot of Blue curaco

pour in SLOWLY a shots worth ( or more....) of baileys.

Add a slight drizzle of grenadine....

    taaa-daaaa... Brain Hemmorage...

and if done right, it looks like a brain floating in a blue liquid

the next one that is worse .....is the cement mixer...

1 shot of vodka, 1 shot of baileys - wack them both into your mouth and shake your head.

    Lumpy goodness

Exclamation Tomorrow does come (but you'll wish it hadn't)

1 large part La Fee Absynthe
1 equally large part Yeni Raki (if you can get it - Ouzo if you can't)
A decent dash of Finlandia 50% vodka (as a mixer)

Give it a stir, add Loads of Ice (I mean Loads), put the whole lot in tyhe freezer for 15 mins and then drink. (The weaker/more sensible among you may like to have a glass of water/lager at hand just in case you are tempted to spntaneously combust)

This is a NICE drink but make sure you don't have work/school the next day

    Merry Crimbo/summer/whatever

Heres mine, its simple, but I can make it mashed.

    1 part vodka
    4 parts "fat" coke

Drink. I find it has a simple and robust flavour, that doesn't get all that diminished by a complete lack of sensory comprehention.
