    Favourite Curries

Just cooking a Balti Chicken Jalfrezi. Well ok, it's not a 'real/purist' curry as it not strictly speaking authentic. But it's from scratch, raw spices, no sauces or curry powder here mate!

So, do you have a fave curry or curry recipe you wish to share?

My fave is a Bengal or Keralan fish curry.....yum!

Bengali food (not Bangladeshi) is quite interesting. Very diferent from the northern Indian food you get in take aways. I am married to a bengali and get to eat all sorts. My fave is meatball curry though.

Not a big curry person, but I do like a chicken byranni with that vegetable sauce you put over it.

I happen to be Punjabi so I grew up on the stuff. I don't eat it as much now, mostly due to the fact that I ate tons of it growing up.

You tend to find that stuff in takeaways isn't authentic, they're what I would call 'english indian food'.
If eating out I usually order a lamb dish, Lamb Rogan is always a good one.

I'm sure I read somewhere that a curry was actually now the, or one of the national dishes of England.

Who'd have thought! I never thought it'd beat a bag of chips and a pukka pie!

Used to like Banana Curry when I was going through a vegetarian phase....

Very true about the "English" curries... if I've gone out to any resturaunts, I make sure I ask for the none-weakened versions

Please use This link for any support queries.. Thank you.

im having a curry night next week and im making 2 curries for it. i've already decided ones gonna be a chicken bundh but what should the other one be. The bundh's a nice change from a korma as its slightly spicier, but i was thinking something even more spicy.

Else i might just go for a Rogan Josh Im not making these from scratch btw, just buying the pataks cooking sauces as im lazy!
