Healthy Meals - Low fat etc
My missus follows the Weight Watcher program and uses some recipes from their cookbooks but looking for some more ideas of low fat main meals, snacks etc.
One snack idea I stole from Jamie oliver is the veggie wrap 2 tortilla wraps Brown one side of each in a frying pan Add chopped peppers, onion and other veg Sprinkle cheese over top and around edges Add other wrap on top Cheese will melt and seal - flip over and finish toasting ![]() Tasty!! ![]() Eye popping good!

What kind of food do You think You or the Missus should stay away from. See pasta is good for You, fish is very good for You. But they have different effects on different people. Like baked spud is ace but to some people thats a heart attack waitin to happen. Me I'm 6 ft odd and built like a brick **** house. But eat my favourite scran, maccaroni and cheese, and I feel bloated and all horrible. Yet go without a meal I feel hungry but not uncomfortable.. I dunno!!

I know not strictly on topic of healthy meals but I think the time you eat is very important as well.
1 thing I read a while ago is never to eat anything heavy(ie high carb like pasta etc) after 8pm as your body will just turn it to fat as you don't need a lot of energy while you're asleep and there is no activity to burn up the carbs you're eating. Also, the old saying of breakfast is the most important meal of the day could never be truer. This is down to the fact that it gives your metabolism a good kick start and you're more likely to burn calories quicker than without breakfast. For this to work though, you need to have breakfast within 3 hours of waking up.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
