Tip for Beef Stew
Whilst playing on Wii yesterday we were offered a tip that appeared on screen in the game Rayman Raving Rabbids. What a cooking tip has got to do with the videogame I have no idea, but I thought I'd share it with you.
Tip: For a really good beef stew add a bit of thyme and a couple of bay leaves. There you go.

I use red wine in beef stew, but ale does sound good. Bay leaf or 2 is a must, but thyme I use with lamb normally... mmmm beef stew. It's the ultimate winter food.

never thought of cheese in dumplings. might try it.
stew is one of my favourite meals. Love being able to throw anything and everything into it and it always tastes great.
I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
