Skype DECT phones - any advice
About to move house and was going to take advantage of Virgin's 10 quid a month cable. Anyway, I was looking at getting Skype In and a Skype DECT phone like
http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2007/04...tgear_sph200d/ or http://accessories.skype.com/item?SI...ource=1stpromo Has anyone had any experience of these? Which is best/are there any other options? I want something that will work with my PC switched off... |

I know you mentioned without a PC on, but I use one of those bridging PSTN / IP boxes on my DECT phones.
Gives me the flexibility of using any standard DECT phone, or multiple DECT phones if you have more than on a same network. So it removes the need to be close to your PC to answer / make a Skype call. Of course, still need your PC to be on connected via USB for the IP/Skype side to work. Box defaults to PSTN when PC is off. |

I do know everything, just not all at once. It's a virtual memory problem.
