Best Digital Camera?

Hey guys im currently looking into a digital camera to buy. My budget is about £100-£150. I liked the look of the Panasonic Lumix in the adverts but know very little about it and not only that but there seems to be alot of different models.

I know nothing about cameras so i hope someone can help me!

I have a Lumix FZ-7, which is a lot less compact than the one in the ads, and love it. My wife recently got the FX-10:


Which she likewise loves. Haven't actually run across anyone with a bad word to say about Panasonic cameras.

my sony DSC-H5 has been perfect for me. the DSC-H2 may be within your price range, which is exactly the same but with a smaller screen

I have the TZ3 which I am disappointed with. I would get a fuji the colours and low
light performance far exceed panasonics stuff.

What type of stuff are you planning to photograph (landscapes, sports, indoors etc...)? Or do you just want a good general purpose camera.
