Surely it'll end up the same as BT Vision? i.e. Crap?

In France it only works because they have 24mb internet, which, when they are watching TV, drops to 2mb. Therefore that suggests to get the quality that the French are happy requires 22mb?

BT Vision fails because the quality of the on demand content resembles youtube more than it does Sky, and doesn't offer any HD content. Add to that the up to 8mb internet that exists in this country (mine runs at 2.5 due to my distance from the exchange) and you've got a problem, no?

I'm all for alternatives, but I think they need to get the infrastructure sorted before they offer it?
