| Freesat - anyone know if this'll work with Vista MCE? Hi all, First post in the .lifestyle forum area and newcomer to media-center stuff so pls be gentle! As the title says, I'm thinking of getting Freesat and currently have Vista MCE working pretty well with my DVB-T tuner card. Anyone know if Media Center on Vista x64 supports Freesat? Also, my flat has a Sky dish with the Sky+ dual-cables, can I use this for Freesat? And are there any tuner cards that support Freesat available yet? Cheers in advance 8bit ![]() system 1 - 'shiro' - Windows 7 Home Premium x64 :: AMD Opteron 185 (2x 2.6GHz) :: Foxconn WinFast NF4SK8AA :: 2x 1GB OCZ Platinum DDR-PC3200 :: NVidia GeForce 8800GTX (768MB) :: Asus XONAR D2 (PCI) :: Western Digital Caviar Black (1TB) WD1001FALS :: Pioneer DVR-115 DVD+-RW :: Lian-Li PC-A16 (silver) :: LG 32LH3000 TV (1080p) :: Logitech G5 Laser Mouse :: Saitek Eclipse II keyboard :: system 2 - 'polaris' - Ubuntu 9.04 Desktop x86 :: AMD Athlon64 3500 2.2GHz :: Asus A8V Deluxe :: 2x 512MB Kingmax DDR-PC4000 :: ATI Radeon HD3650 AGP :: Samsung Spinpoint P120 250GB SATA :: Sony/NEC OptiArc DVD+-RW :: CoolerMaster WaveMaster (silver) :: LG 32LH3000 TV (1080p) :: |

| Re: Freesat - anyone know if this'll work with Vista MCE? The only sticking point will be ITV HD which is broadcast as a H.222 data stream as opposed to a H.264 video stream. This is accessed through the red button on Freesat boxes. Does MCE let you use interactive content through Freeviews Red Button at the moment? |
