True Blood Anyone else whatching this? Its a series set in a louisiana and its about vampires being real and coming out so to speak. A japanese company have made a synthetic blood so there is no need for them to feed on humans so they want to be accepted as part of society. So far it seems really good the lead girl was Rogue in the X-men films and is pretty hot now It seems its based on Sookie Stackhouse book series by Charlaine Harris

Re: True Blood I love the show, but there's one thing different about it compared to other shows. Normally I skip the title sequences, but True Blood has really good opening credits, for some reason.

Re: True Blood It's intriuging & getter better with each epsidoe, but it's also very "teenage" feeling. The vampires are all really lame, and quite laughable really. Quite a few of the characters are really annying too. But it is interesting for sure.

Re: True Blood My impression from the first couple of episodes isn't that great - I've really enjoyed the Sookie Stackhouse books, and it doesn't really capture the feel for me - I think they've possibly tried to over-sex it compared to the books, which is surprising for a US series. I'm no prude, I just didn't think it was that well-done... I'll watch the next few episodes at some point, though, maybe I'll like it more then. As a vampire fan, I was more keen on Moonlight, though that was canned after the first series... maybe I should catch Lost Boys 2 for some real cheese... ----------------------------------------------- David Burton Starfall Games - Poker Chip Sets and Accessories ----------------------------------------------- If it's not poker or computers I'm probably not interested...

Re: True Blood Ending? Have they axed it or just a season break? It's certainly a different take on your standard Buffy/Blade-esque style vampire shows. So far I've really enjoyed it...although I recently got sidetracked with 5 seasons of The Wire which I possibly think is the best show I have ever seen, which is quite suprising considering the pace of the show.
