Looks like they've taken the login servers down. I managed to get so far into registration then had to copy the code from a box. Only problem, no box. This sort of reminds me of the EU launch of WoW!

Has anyone managed to get to the Accounts page? I get a 414 error everytime I log in.

GOA have managed to screw up the accounts page. Its going to be a case of come back to it every now and again, but i'm not expecting to be playing WAR today.

Well i'm giving up for now. May try it once more this evening before going to bed. I have serious misgivings about using the GOA website with my credit cards details. So will have to decide to use gamecards or not bother with the game at all!

Oh well that meant new plans for my Sunday- I even went to the garden centre!

To be fair GOA have really ballsed up on this one!

Thats an understatement

Even the big cheese from Mythic Mark has been in on the act

Folks,

As you might have expected, Mythic has been talking to GOA for the entire day about today's events. GOA is still our partner and no matter what the difficulties are right now, we must act as partners. I expect you'll be hearing more shortly.

P.S. The key Mythic personnel (including yours truly) have been involved in these discussions since way too early this morning. Hopefully that will give you some comfort on how seriously we are taking things.

Biggest problem with GOA has been the arrogance and lack of communication to the open beta players.

And i so hate doing the cleaning when i could (should) have been gaming

I am beginning to suspect that it was my wife that caused these issues as she had me tidying the house and helping to choose lino for the bathroom!!!!! and she may also be responsible for the delay of the Ghostbusters on the PS3!!!

Some info for people.

The new beta key validation system
As a lot of people seem to be a little confused over this I'm going to post up some quick Q&As. If you have other questions then please post them below and I'll try to answer them, please don't post anything else other than questions in this thread so that it's easy to find the important info.

Q: I can't log into the site, I get the 'Authentication servers are offline message'
A: Yes, you do not need to login to the site to use this page. Simply go to here and fill in your details.

Q: Who can use that page?
A: Anyone who already has a beta centre account - this means anyone who created an account to apply for the closed beta or to recieve the newsletter even if they didn't get a closed beta invite. In addition, anyone who created an account on our site yesterday and has received a confirmation email.

Q: I don't have an account yet, when will I be able to use my key?
A: We are bringing a new account centre online, at the moment we have no ETA for this but we will keep you informed via the news.

Q: I put my details in, now what?
A: All you need to do now is to wait for an email from us. This email will either confirm that your validation is complete (in which case you can log in and play) or that there was a problem with your details (in which case you need to go back and resubmit your information).

Q: Why are you doing it this way?
A: To reduce the load on the database server we have an asynchronous system. What this means is that when you put your details in, the system will store it, another system will then check it and confirm the details to you. This means the whole system is much smoother.

This must be the most difficult Beta i've ever joined. Talk about make things hard for people.

If you are having trouble with the activation page now working for beta codes try it in ie rather than any other browser. Firefox hung for me but ie popped straight through.

Got my Registration confirmation email, currently downloading the patch (198mb) Hopefully i'll be ingame in 10-20 mins
