hi! and help!
hi im new to the forum a friend from my guild in world of warcraft said i should come here and ask for help because my computer is a pain in the butt heres what happens, so im playing WoW for like a few hours like maybe 4-5 ok? im an addict its very easy to get addicted to and then my computer, almost regularly closes my game and opens two little error boxes one says fatal error such and such file cannot be read the other gives a bog detailed report in pc language about what happened and how i dont understand it and it asks me to type in what i was doing when t he crash happened so i type it in and click send like it says...well what a difference i dont think its ever been worse can anyone ehre help me? i can send like details or things if you tell me how im not that good with computers, also it is nothing to do with the RAM i just got a card put in that gives 512 RAM on top of my 215 one and i have a 3.4ghz cpu ( i think) all help appreciated its like my computer is saying
and he dont know that im making fun of him

Hi Quin,
This is Sylean from your guild. Much easier to try and sort out problems here than on the in game chat, specially when you keep disappearing ![]() I assumed you had a networking problem before, but this sounds much more like a hardware or driver problem. In which case, you really want to ask this again in the Hexus.hardware area where there are a lot more people around. My suspicions are bad RAM, video driver gone wonky or CPU overheating. Games are the hardest task most computers ever get to do. First thing I would want to do is get a copy of memtest86 (google should find it). That normally burns onto a bootable CD. If there are any problems with the RAM in your machine, that should flush them out. I like to leave it running overnight to get a good few passes. |
