Re: EVE-Online
Do people actually buy ISK?
I was mining in a 0.5 belt when along comes a guy in an NPC corp who has been playing for 3 months and has a Hulk.... I thought the training took longer than that never mind the fact that it cost 99 mil ISK.

I don't know why though, just running level 1 and 2 missions and salvaging everything in site I'm making millions per day easily! On the skills side, on my new char that has hardly any industrial or mining skill, it will take 73 days to fly a Hulk. The quickest you can do it is by creating a Caldari Deteis Merchandiser with Military and Soldier career specialisation, it only take 69 days from char creation then.
If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Re: EVE-Online
Yeah isk buying is a massive problem in eve. CCP tries to stop it, but they face the problem that these sellers can make money with very little real capital.
Characters and game time can all be bought with isk. So if you have an internet connection, a few old PC's and some very basic coding knowledge(or a pre-bought macro from ebay) you're in business. Not to mention it's unlikely that the FBI will kick down your door for it, unlike a lot of enterprises these people tend to run.

Re: EVE-Online
I've been making about 7mil a day recently over a Mill ISK per hour. I have been splitting the ore 50/50 with my hauler - he is new so needs a hand with the old ISK.

Re: EVE-Online
I was pretty cool how BBK took that carrier down
There are a couple of decent pics here, shame no one took a video of it. http://www.bbk-corp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=65

Re: EVE-Online
Nice work Jay!
Having a quick look round your corps forums, seem a nice bunch! What sort of corp are you, and are you open to recruitment at the mo? How many active players do you have? Do you do mining or PvP ops or just have fun and do whatever you want whenever you want? Sorry for all the questions, but my chars are looking for another home. My fighter has just under 5m SP and my industrialist has just over 6m.
If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Re: EVE-Online
Update on EKCHU
We have decided to move to Ordion for mission running for Amarr Navy , the lag and wreak poaching goits in Verge Vendor have made lvl 4s a nightmare, we are also getting together another DPS and support ships to start running some lvl 5s. AAS in syndicate is still the 0.0 base with 5 of us having jumpclones and DPS ships there, currently looking for a productive moon and coupling that with a low sec mining operation. We are working in partnership with the RASA allaince and Moose Foundation to start taking systems over surrounding AAS which we now pretty much control, although roaming Huzzah and Wise guy gangs sometime appear we either fight them off or dock up, they dont bother to hang round easier pickings else where. Anyone interested is of course welcome to come have a chat in Channel EKCHU-PUB Fly safe

Re: EVE-Online
Things really have been going from strength to strength lately. New members, I've got access to quite a few new ships, a nice bit of 0.0 with some wicked support.....great stuff

Re: EVE-Online
I will be back at some point. Not sure when. I might grab some gametime on payday(next week), even if I just set a skill going and chat while spinning me spaceship
