Re: EVE-Online
Thanks guys, used them to in the end, i'm now subscribed for 2 months + 10 days free
![]() Liking the game so far, its different, its spacey, some of the missions are a bit repetitive, need something a little more challenging but i think i'm close to level 2 missions now, so hopefully it will get a bit more challenging

Re: EVE-Online
Only problem I found is that you have to play for 3 years before you got enough skill to please yourself what you want to do when you log in.
Haven't played in about 4 Months and to tell you truth I am considering a looksie again, heard it was a little easier for the new players now though, better earning potential. still a bloody good game though. Has alot of diversity for character shaping! http://www.shatteredcrystal.com/ Higgs...Out! |

Re: EVE-Online
Tell me about it, I find myself thinking I need this, that and the other skill at lvl 5 and it takes them ages, even with implants and lvl 4-5 training skills... I think I made a plan for one of my chars for lvl 5 skills of all the ones I wanted (missile skills, ship skills, shield skills and social skills for my Caldari mission runner) and it would take like 600 days to get them all to 5!.
If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Re: EVE-Online
Allen,
Have you accounted for the bonus your advanced learning skills (only really need to be lvl4) will yeild? It cant be that long! Surely! I have downloaded it just need half hour to pay and play! Miss not Exploring in covert ops (always fancied the scout job in fleets) was trying to find a way of getting a cyno generator of decent size to get some blackops in round the back. ![]() Caldari the bread and butter of mission runners! Re: EVE-Online
It's just a well OTT plan including all ships upto Cruiser size, all gunnery and missile skills, tanking skills for both armour and shields, capacitor skills and social skills, all up to level 5. I won't follow it properly, I just wanted to know in the long run what learning skills I will need, and it's basically all rank 1's to level 5 and rank 3's to level 4!
![]() Oh and this is for my new char who's only a month or so old. I also have a salvaging alt who's learning industrial, science and trade skills to perfect refining and buying and selling at as little cost as possible. She may even do mining later on, depends on what my corp need.

Re: EVE-Online
I think it's a really bad idea. Having a break from EvE is common, and the thought you come back to more than when you left is a big plus for almost everyone.
They don't even do 30 day cards anymore for crying out loud! |

Re: EVE-Online
I understand why they've done it. As usual people have abused it, when creating char's to sell etc. I can only guess but this happening a few days after Iceland went bankrupt, probably isn't a coincidence. Still sucks though.
Be nice if they gave us something in return. Like the skill queue they've been promising for months and users have been begging for, for years. EDIT: http://myeve.eve-online.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=591 though mildly amusing doesn't count.

Looks like I pegged it on the first guess. http://myeve.eve-online.com/devblog.asp?a=blog&bid=592
