    Ace.

    Found a couple of decent vids in the related section too;

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5cATM...eature=channel
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvkKZLczslA&NR=1

Wormholes and new effects in HD. Effects look much better than before, especially the tank stuff.

Nice vids, love the new effects.

And how the hell does he arrange his UI like that, is that a new feature of Apocrypha? Need more customisation on the UI really, I don't get along with it at all, still.

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

The UI bit in the bottom with cap/shields etc can be moved left and right, Just click and drag on the cap readout in the centre.

Luckier than the 2 cap pilots that went pop?

Getting well excited about the new expansion now, I ordered the box, the extras and the 2 months GTC are well worth £25 (the 2 months GTC is worth £25 alone!). Can also split it into 2 x 1 month GTC so can use for both of my accounts if needed. Not bad, eh?

Although the shuttle doesn't look that great, 20m³ instead of 10m³.

    Anyone remember this:

    Eve-Online scam

I can't find the original writings anywhere. I know it's very old now, but I was talking to someone at work about this as they know I play EVE and asked me about BoB after they read it on the BBC and was interested in the other scams they mentioned, I believe this was one of them (the guy who scammed a group of people for money to buy a Amarr BS BPO, got bored with all his money and nothing to do, gave it to a newbie and quit the game).

The original link was http://static.circa1984.com/the-big-scam.html but no-one seems to have copied the story anywhere else...

As of today Kenzoku(BoB) is no longer a space holding alliance. http://dl.eve-files.com/media/corp/Verite/influence.png

They went down a lot quicker than I expected. Wonder if they'll become a footnote in eve history or continue the fight and push goons back once their excitement and allied numbers have dropped(it's happened before).

So, anyone have any ideas where to start downloading Apocrypha? Nothing on their website, the client doesn't try and upgrade and the forums are down...

I'm guessing it will become available for download at some point, but I hope it's before 2pm as I have to leave for work and won't be back until after 11pm (and with my borked internet connection that'll mean no Apocrypha until tomorrow night or Thursday).

They rarely put the client download up before they're absolutely sure the server side stuff is good. In case they have to push the patch rollout back a day or two, it's happened a couple of times before, when they found a problem during the rollout to the TQ cluster.

EDIT: Just double checked it for you, still no client updates in any of the usual places, but the patch notes are out if it's any consolation. http://www.eveonline.com/updates/pat...patchlogID=183

Well, all I can say is thank god I set some skills for training that would take over 7 days...

Patch's have only been delayed twice in the entire time I've been playing and both times the server was up again shortly after it was supposed to be. 2 days should be more than enough.
