Re: EVE-Online
Cougho makes a good point. A lot of the high-sec lvl 4 agent systems will be lagged to hell if/when you ge tthat far. Amaar space is probably the quietest out of the 4 races. I'm online now if you want the support of a logistics cruiser. Dak got me it yesterday and I'm itching ot try it with someone! I can bring DPS as well in form of my Hammer IIs.

Re: EVE-Online
I'm looking at 15+ jumps just to get into Amaar space, and thats through some low sec (0.3 and the likes too).....I think I'm just going to stick with this new high quality Agent for now, It'll do to learn the ropes
![]() The thought of going through a 0.3 with traffic advisor's on them is a bit too much ![]() |

Re: EVE-Online
You can set the autopilot to take you through safe systems only. It's in the starmap menu. But you will be fine where you are for upto lvl 3s.

Re: EVE-Online
Now say we wanted to do some missions Gerrard, I take it we would have to be at the same place as each other?
All this warping about takes so much time and distracts from the gameplay ![]() |

Re: EVE-Online
im currently in amarr space and can lend a hand if need be...... i recently moved there from Caldari space myself due to the lag of lvl4's.
I can quite happily log on and run some lvl1's with you in my kestrel. |

Re: EVE-Online
A special thanks must go out to Mr Cougho who has run a few missions with me, built up a nice bit of ISK and lent me what I'm considering buying as my next ship to try it out

Re: EVE-Online
You need to pick a new home station near the people you want to do missions with. I love the EVE community, its one of the best.

Re: EVE-Online
Downloaded the Eve client and bought a few timecodes so I should hopefully be doing a bit of mining later. Don't know if thats a good thing or not.
![]() Loved the pic of the learning curve for Eve I swear I spent less time reading for my degree as I have for Eve and I still don't really have a clue on how to play, but that's what makes it a class game. |

Re: EVE-Online
i would probably avoid mining early on, missions probably provide a better isk:time ratio. Plus they are somewhat less boring.
