I have gone back to it after 12 months away, its a fantastic game but the down time over the past 3 or 4 days has been really bad! |

Re: EVE-Online
the recent changes to the game are very good, I found it very hard to play 12 months ago and this time I am well into the game and not as confused.
21 hours in 3 days..... need to cut that back a bit, I am used to 4 hours a week of CS:S! lol I can play it on my laptop, so I can chat with the missus, make cups of tea etc you can play long hours but its not as intense as CS:S and you have time to watch a TV programs or chase the missus round the house when she feels like she needs some attention. you seen this? http://myeve.eve-online.com/download...wnload&vid=153 |

Re: EVE-Online
Yeah this game can really take up some free time. What I like most is how you can train even when not playing. Very cool. I'm one of those fools that sets his alarm for 2:00am just to start a new skill training when another completes lol
I can't check out that link you provided because I'm at work so I'll check it later when I'm home. |

Re: EVE-Online
I have two chars. One is about a year old and the other is a few months old. A little over a year now playing and I finally broke 200m isk.
I should add that would be a little over a year "off and on" because I have dropped my subscription from time to time because I can't always play and even though I should at least train skills I hate the idea of paying for a game and not playing. |

Re: EVE-Online
I started about a year after beta completed and then played for 3 years before finally getting sick of the sheer amount of time it took to do stuff compared to the ease at which it could be taken away from you by little kiddies out for a quick spot of griefing.
Somewhere I have two 30m+ skill point characters sitting there waiting for the day I finally have 40+ free hours a week to play them |

Re: EVE-Online
I agree that it's a very time consuming game. As much as I love the game I have to admit that I too no longer have the time to invest. Plus with moving to another city and now living with my GF I realized that I may as well end my subscription.
I'd like to think that I'll join up again but who knows. Not to mention I'm a LOTRO subscriber...I can only give my time to one MMO now and I prefer LOTRO. |

Re: EVE-Online
I have played both LOTRO and WoW and could not get into either. I think I am more into Sc-Fi than fantasy. EVE I did not like at first so I left it 12 months and went back. Now I love it, but it does take some time to get used to it and also I am not happy about it all being PvP. I just stay in hisec for now.

Re: EVE-Online
I love this game, I've only got a fiver left on my card though, hopefully the 8 quid refund from Scan will come in so I can renew it in a week or so
![]() I played the free trail months ago and at the end of Summer I canceled WoW and converted to full subscriber on EVE, no regrets thus far. It's great because when you aren't in the mood to play it or aren't around you can still train, I've got Heavy Missile V training and it takes 22days ![]() |

Re: EVE-Online
Got Gallente Battleship V last week; about 40 days or so! That's why I still play after just over a year. When I get bored (or lack of decent Internet connection as the case is at the moment), I can still train and come back a month or so later more skilled.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hurt; then it's bloody hilarious!

Re: EVE-Online
I just got 3 months extra, I agree that even when you don't have time to play you can train. Mining Barge level 3 at the moment about 15 hours left.
