    WOW:WotLK

Any news on the release date of this?

I've been out of the loop for a while now since I quit about 4 months ago, and am thinking of starting up again once this comes out. Hopefully it'll co-inside (sp.?) with me getting some more free time too

The best guess at present is May afaik.

We've got patch 2.4 coming out soon ish, this will be the last major content patch before WotLK.

Apparently some kind of gathering event may or maynot be present for a run up to expansion like with AQ40 opening and DarkPortal opening.

Patch 2.4 is Sunwell then I guess, I heard there was going to be some kind of gathering for the later parts of Sunwell as well.

I won't have time to play properly until June anyway, so it'd be nice for me if it wasn't released until then

    Re: WOW:WotLK

I severely doubt November if we've only got 1 more patch Kopite. Last patch was early last year (feb time iirc), I doubt they would wait almost 2 years when Blizz's started was an expansion a year.

We shall see soon enough. But just the amount of information on WotLK is huge at the moment, lots of trailers etc, info on Death Knight etc.

May seems... too early for a product that's not entered closed beta yet.

Last expansion had very little beta tho as i remember it.

I guess it depends on when we get 2.4, but i can't imagine we're going to be more than 3 months after 2.4 before expansion.

True, although hopefully they've learned from that and get some proper testing on level 80 content this time around

TBC had a decent length'd beta it was just closed for most of it, WotLK will hit the shelves way before November Guarenteed as it was brought out on press release as soon as TBC was cleared (which i mentioned in another post) most rumours and sites suggest the end of the first quarter, im just glad i got out before it was released

at least they finally nerfed ar/prep rogues, that was the most overpowered thing in this game for ages. playing that spec with decent gear and youve even got a decent chance against warriors, the anitclass.

as for wotlk, im not really thinking about it.

HEy we have been screwed over in every update since BC came out.

MY main hate in wow are the rogues. We have fear but as soon as you hit them again its broken, With Rogues they stun you and keep beating on you

Locks were very OP at level 60 before BC came out, after BC at level 70 they were well balanced imo, some say even a little under powered.

    you cant fear undead rogues

the best was lvl60 pre tbc pvp in a short time where ret pallys ruled the world. they had jsut got crusader strike backa dn it was totally unbalanced so they had to nerf it.
