    Hexus Horde Guild Leader

To all who will be playing World of Warcraft,
It has been suggested (rightly) that I should not simply assume to be the leader of the Hexus Horde guild. I suggested the idea of me creating the 'Hexus Horde' guild so I could have some fun playing this excellent game with some fellow Hexites.

So I am starting this thread for people to decide who they wish the leader to be...

    Thanks to all for participating

    Leon

May I suggest that all those who would like to take on the role of guild leader post here with a short list of gaming accomplishments, including details of beta participation, together with a statement detailing your plans for running the guild.

Personally I'm very interested in what you have to say Leon!

Well, I thought Leon was the leader already

And seeing as it was Leons idea, and he has done most of the posting about it (made the name, topic, got us our forum ) then i think Leon should be the leader.

    Right good post TeePee

I have been playing warcraft games since they started (orcs vs humans) and have been hooked ever since. I loved warcraft 3 and the expansion pack because it added the idea of heroes into the game that can gain power as they progress in levels.

I have also played (and completed) the baldur's gate series of games. i.e. BG, BG2,Throne of Baal, Icewind Dale, Icewind Dale 2, Neverwinter Nights (plus expansion packs). I love the whole idea of role playing games and adventuring with like minded souls is my kind of thing!

I took part in the european open beta, the korean beta and the final european beta and was loving every minute of it. My idea of running the guild is not to force people to be particular characters because we need some of that type, more I would like people to be what ever class they wish in order to have the most fun that is possible!

Thanks for reading and I look forward to seeing you in game,
    Leon

While democracy is a good think, I think in this instance Leon's obvious passion for this means he is the obvious choice...

Plus I'd love to be part of the guild and do stuff with people I at least know in passing (although having random strangers join up for a quest or two is great also!), but not be so involved myself that I can't just wander off and solo for a few days if I so wish without leaving a hole in the guild so...

    I vote Leon!

    Well Hello!

Sadly thats exactly my point Daverobev, I want to avoid dictatorship, if i want to choose to go away and solo for 2 days, i want a leader that is not going to kick me out the hexus guild for that.

And for my part and i've explained my reasons for having this thread with Big_Leon via PM, he knows and understands my concerns and I appreciate his patience for going through this.

But with this thread what we will obviously see is a great deal of support for Leon, and from your guys feelings quite rightly so, This can only start off the guild in a very positive manner with a clear and right choice of leader.

It means that hopefully we should have no power struggles and that our guild will be a great and prosperous one.

I hope the hexus guild supports the whole community, both the new players joining the WoW world for the first time, while pushing the higher level members to do lvl 30+ elite quests with ease

I can definately promise not to kick out guild members for doing that. My whole reasoning behind becoming guild leader is for me and everyone else to have as much fun as possible. I am in no way a power gamer, and will not force players to do things they do not want to do. I simply want everyone to be able to enjoy WoW as much as I do.

    Thanks for all input,
    Leon

Leons passion inspires me, so Leon

    Vote for Leon too.

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

I hope I am not being too presumptious but I would like to register our guild if that is okay with everyone.

Please post here if there is a problem of any kind.

    Thanks to all.

Sure, you'll need 10 people to sign the charter so maybe better to wait until you have the people ready there? Doesn't matter really, as long as you get 10 members to sign.
