    WoW Server Problems - It's sorted now! Get in there! :D

    Has anyone had a butchers are the WoW forums? There's a lot of posts about CD-Key errors and account problems! Could this be more serious than an overloaded server?

    It's been down for ages now and people are saying that the accounts they created are now saying aren't there. Also, I'm very worried as at one point this afternoon, I got all the way to the payment details screen before it kicked me out. I also entered my CD-Key several times before the server died. Will I now get this problem?

    I wish they would let us know what's happening, coz I can't get on the forum to bloody ask as they won't let anyone sign up!!!

    Getting seriously stressed now.

    If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

    I feel for you guys, Im actually starting to worry that by the time I get home my account may have "dissapeared".

    Tbh this is pretty poor on Blizzards part..

    Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
    Enwrought with golden and silver light,
    The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
    Of night and light and the half-light,
    I would spread the cloths under your feet:
    But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
    I have spread my dreams under your feet;
    Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.

    Seriously, people should look at the forums. There are sooooo many problems it's unreal.

    Anyone from here who actually got signed up, are you guys playing ok? No graphical lockups? No accounts disappearing? No quest bugs? I think I'll be getting a refund if either a ) the account creation servers aren't back up very soon, or b ) it's confirmed that none of these problems are happening.

    I can't believe Blizzard would let so many people down like this. GET THE SERVERS UP!

    Its a bit of a joke considering exactly the same things happened during the american launch, People have paid good money and deserve a working product..

    I was playing fine for a couple of hours this afternoon, had to come over to my parents though so will let you know if I can get back in when I get back at 10ish

    Hmmm, my lack of a game might be a blessing in disguise - at least now I don't have to go through all these problems!

    That said, I'd still much rather have the game now

    If you do miss out on game time after you've registered, Blizzard might give you extra time - I think that's what they did in America.

    I'm not too worried about being a few hours behind, but I don't like buying a game and not being able to play it.

    I suppose this is what all those HL2 users moaned about when it was released and Steam went about as fast as a steam roller...

    LOL, there's now a rumour that Blizzard shut down the account creation servers on purpose, due to the amount of people there would be in the "newbie" zones so that they didn't have as much lag...

    Well, I suppose that's a relief.

    I wish they could get the account servers backup, 7 hours I've been having problems now, that's sad.

    I've been trying since I got back from my lunch break at around 1pm something.
