    Idiots Guide?

Jus purchased the game and was wondering if anyone would be kind enough to post a quick start guide to get me playing quickly

    Okay here goes:

Two Sides -> Horde and Alliance

Horde: Undead, Orc, Troll and Tauren
    Alliance: Gnome, Elf, Human, Dwarf

So choose a class, then whether you are male or female (has no benefit for either sex)

Choose a class (this will depend on your race to what you can be)

Mage, Warlock, Shaman, Warrior, Rogue, Druid, Hunter, Priest

Then start your game. You will have the choice to have tips when you start the game, these handy hints will tell you useful things. Basically to get started whenever you see you a person with a yellow ! on their head they have a quest for you. Talk to them and accept the quest. Complete the quest (quest description in your log book) and return to them to gain experience.

By gaining experience (also gained from killing monsters) you will advance in levels. The higher your level the higher your stats are amd the more abilites you can learn. Abilities are learnt from a class trainer (ask a guard for your classes trainer) and it costs money to learn them.

That will have to do for now because I need some sleep. If you need to know more please ask

HORDE! You can join the Hexus guild then.

The best class? Really depends what you prefer. It's basically a choice between fighting chars and spellcasting chars, each with their own differences. Myself, I prefer rogues.

Also, GreenPiggy, if you start a Horde char you can always join the guild and ask as many questions as you want. There should nearly always be someone around to help you.

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

Ok thinking of getting this myself, but a quick question from me. How many characters can you have on your account??? I've been playing Everquest 2, and you can have 4 charcters on your account which are deletable if you dont like the class you chose.....has WOW got a similar set up???Cos I dont want to choose a character then find out i'm stuck with it ( like I did in Everquest 2, I had a fighter up to level 19, it didnt really like the fighter class....so deleted and went with a scout )

Something like that, but remember it's only an 8 char max on any one server.

if you subscribe on a monthly basis then its £8.99 a month, if you do it 3monthly then it comes down a little bit somin like £24 so thats £8.40 odd a month. If you do it 6monthly then its £46 which is around £7.60 somin a month speaking relatively that is

i went for the 6month sub. they are going to bring out vouchers aswell so that you can go to i.e 'Game' and buy a 1 month pass instead of setting it up on your credit card or bank account
