What do you mean 3 days solid stoo?, this has been life as we know it for a good month. I was glad of the break between end of beta and live.

I'd like to know what level i'd have been with my characters if i hadn't had guests with me between 12pm Sat and Sunday 1:30pm.

Happy enough with lvl 19 warlock and a lvl 13 shaman tho

Finally delivered mine today......how can Gameplay provide someone else with their's the day of the release when they preordered by 12pm the day before and then only manage to get mine 3 days after release when I preordered 4 weeks in advance. Should be around tonight for a dabble though

Snore? No way, plenty of energy left! I'm just missing WoW now I'm stuck at work!

Good job Az, see you around tonight maybe? I'll be keeping the g/f entertained for a while (stupid valentines day) but should get on for a few hours after that.

Yep I know how you feel stoo.

A little advice for anyone thinking of coming back home after drinking 4cans o carling, 4 pints of knocker, 2 JD's and a 3rd of a jug of redbull n vodka, mixing it all up on the dance floor then having a little bash on WoW, firstly continually running back to your character from the nearest grave yard isn’t fun and secondly neither is picking chunks of partially digested lamb tikka out of your keyboard the next morning! All those colours were just too much!

    Sweet jesus, TiG! HOW?

I have a lvl 11 Rogue, but that's about it at the moment. I've created about 3 test chars and they're all at lvl 5 or 6 but that only took about 1 hour each. I need to get some questing done, and fast! Seeing too many lvl20+ chars, need to catch up!

Allen, i'll let you know a secret about me, and thats the fact that i'm ultra competitive.

I've died three times with my warlock full stop, since launch i've spent about 16-20 hours getting those characters up and running.

Final week of beta i perfected a strategy of moving between starting areas. So my warlock did all of undead starting areas till moving to seplucher, then went to ogrimmar and did the lvl 6 to 12 quests in durotar, then has moved to the crossroads to do quests there.

Not dieing is one of the key parts in my opinion. Having good kit is another and knowing how to solo is the 3rd.

There are many parts in this game that i've seen many people struggle at on there own, where i've been able to run through it without bother.

Doing raptor hill where you tackle raptors at lvl 18 in pairs and a triple at the end to get the stolen silver achieved by me last night at lvl 19 solo...

i get attacked by the lvl 18 raptors i last 8 hits, before dieing, and with pairs of them i keep having to swap aggro with my pet to ensure i don't die...

I think there are some distinct lessons new people will learn as they continue to play and learn what is important.

Looking forward to seeing more people on your TS server so i can help try and explain some of these things...

Yeah, had a few on there Sat night which was good. We need to get verbal comms going and help eachother out a little more. I could sure use some handy tips myself.

This morning I manager to solo a quest where you had to kill one of the scarlet capatins. It's the quest before the 2 bodyguards and captain quest. I killed the 5 friars easy, but the Captain was well guarded. I used stealth to get into the tower, kill the friar with him and so nearly go the captain but he ran away came back and killed me in one hit. So I went back, res'd outside and healed, stealthed back in again and got him without his backup around! I thought it was rather sneaky, and also one of the very few times I've died so far.

BTW, do you lose exp when you die? I don't notice it if you do...

:edit: I wish I could put more hours in to get better, I'm quite competetive too, but my girlfriend is upset with the amount of time I'm putting in as it is. Had to take her out for a meal last night just to keep her sweet!

nope no loss of XP when you die, but the 5 mins running back to your corpse is 5 mins extra killing time

LOL, know what you mean but in my case it's a wife that doesn't game, a 7 week old baby girl that's up until late and then wakes through the night and 3 year old boy who honestly believes the day starts at 5.30am. I manage a couple of hours a night (if I'm lucky) and it's very hard going. I've only got a Lv5 warrior!

I played until 1am last night then had to do a feed at 4.30 and up with the boy an hour later. Work is passing by in a haze at the moment!

im absolutly shattered, didnt get WoW till mid saturday afternoon and since then been loving it, cant wait to get home and play some more. Im a level 10undead warrior with a kick ass sword i found, does 20-30 damage in one hit, (may sound rubbish if you have some of the other weapons, but its teh best sword ive found so far). can sometimes get 100+ from it if i use my rage skills.

Is there a post limit to join the hexus horde guild, ive partied up with a few of you guys over the weekend, but ive not posted on the forums since joining. I no you set a limit on your cs: s clan so thats why i ask (only a minor thread high jack question . )

I'm certainly not leader but i'm an established member, i think the idea of our guild is for people to be team players, i play a lot and do work solo most of the time, but i'm very keen that as i'm a higher level i can produce very good armour for all the cloth wearing people as well as bags for the whole guild if required.

As such i think anyone who joins hexus boards and posts should be allowed to join. But it think you have to want to work with a team and help others, either from questing or by working together and if you get a really nice two handed mace offering it to the rest of the group first to see if anyone else needs it.

yeah sharing is a good part of the game, currently i can only make a few pieces of armour and i tend at the moment to just sell them as my armour is loads better. need to increase my blacksmith skill so i can make swords. but if anyone needs some armour then ill gladely trade it off/give it away as i have no need for the weaker stuff, around 60 in defence i think

Yup, also agree with the above. As long as people have an interest with becoming part of the Hexus community, I'm sure we'll welcome anyone who's willing to help out others and work as a group (either fighting together or just helping newbies with questions, etc.). I've done a fair bit of questing with Stoo (Isadrel) so far, we've been getting on pretty well I think. But I think the real "grouping" will come later on when we're all of a high enough level to start really kicking ass and taking over areas, rather than groups of npc's!

Anyone for a group invasion? Now THAT would be kewl. Hexus leading the way to victory, killing as many Alliance members as we can!

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

I did however manage to get Is up to level 12 last night

I've got bag making down, but I'm still having issues getting enough cloth (when I don't blag it from TiG ), to LVL the tailoring skill..

Oh, and while I remember, anyone know if you can stack bags? (ie, put a bag, in a bag, in a bag, etc)
