Please Read - Hexus Horde Team Speak

Hey horde members,
Just noticed that not a lot of the guild use team speak. In case you didn't know Allen has kindly set us up a channel on his server. The channel is extremely useful for trading, asking for help, partying etc etc.

If you wish to use it here are Allen's instructions:

Download TS2 from here. Install and run. Click on Connection and hit Connect. Right click on the left hand pane and select Add Server, this will bring up a box with New Server written in it which is highlighted. Change this to anything you like, perhaps WoW or Hexus.Horde.

Now, on the right hand side, the Server Address is 83.142.48.11, whack in your Nickname (real or game name if you like), hit Anonymous and enter the password "carnation".

Upon clicking connect, you will be taken into the default channel. Please double click on the WoW channel on the left, the password is "Hexus.Horde". That's it.

Oh, and if you're speaking but nobody can hear you, try double clicking in the speaker in your system tray, go to Options - Properties, select Recording and hit OK. Make sure the microphone volume is all the way to the top. You can also hit Advanced (after turning the option on from the Options menu) and tick Microphone Boost.

Any probs, just ask.

I'll probably idle but with a 15 month old baby in the house I can't really speak much after 20:00 as my study is next to the nursery. Fatal flaw in my planning really with hindsight

I'm in a similar situation with young baby. I've also yet to to be admitted to the guild in game but I'll jojn TS once that's done.

I would use it but my pc is in the living room and my Mrs will not be happy with me chatting away to you all whilst she is watching Eastenders.

Heh put some headphone on so you can hear us then and type responses in guild chat

It makes it easier for some of us to appreciate whats going on with other members

More the merrier tbh but its still the best way to do everything imo.

For those who havnt heard / dont use it heres a LINK to TSO.

great little prog that runs hidden but when ur ingame displays ppls names when they speak in TS. It also has a small fps counter which is usefull and i havnt noticed any ill effect from using.

i have it on the middle left side of the sceen. it can be either side iirc. U can change the font size tho, iv got mine at 10 and its tiny. wouldnt want to go much smaller than that really.

its like deja vous - I had exactly the same problem and with Eastenders to boot - nomnally the most rubbish program ever seen, Ive now moved the pc to the conservatory so I can scream loudly

oooh, that TS overlay use very useful

btw, I'm now back on my main pc again (yay! the decorating's finally finished!) so all I need to do now is configure TS etc and you'll be treated to my dulcet tones of an evening on WOW
