Druids
Anyone here a lvl 16+ Druid? I know there is one, Mattak I think, but can't remember. Reason why I ask is because of Aquatic form. I'm hearing great things about this!
Right, at level 16 Druids get to shapeshift into a fish type creature that apparently isn't attacked because it looks fierce. Now it swims faster than everyone walks, 50% faster infact, so is a great form of transport... but, and this is a BIG BUT, you can breathe underwater and you don't get worn out travelling vast oceans. So, you are free to swim between the two continents without fear of death... I think. So, the next question is, I've heard that there can be some great hidden treasures found in the depths of the ocean, right at the bottom, right in the middle of the two continents. Just wondered if anyone had actually been there! I'm gonna get straight on tonight, and try really hard to get to get lvl 16 so I can try and get the aquatic form tonight (maybe even skipping WC with Lurch to do this). It sounds like muchos fun!
If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

that does sounds cool and it would be good for druids (and undead) if there is stuff underwater... plus isnt there a potion you can drink to make you breath longer underwater??

Me and Repas were doing a bit of that in the Barrens Oasisesesesessessses last night
amazing just how long undead get to play underwater in comparison, and as a warlock I get Unending Breath, which allows me 10 minutes of underwater freedom ![]() The real question is, can we have harpoons?

That would definately be cool to go out into the vast ocean and see if you could find the GM island which is supposedly hidden out there.

Yeah, I fell off of the ship from Teldrassil to Darkshore in beta, straight into the open sea. Managed to swim quite a way before drowning, got back out there and swam the rest of the way back ok. Funny thing was, even as a whisp (night elf dead creature) I was getting fatigue just returning to my corpse!

![]() I doubt you could get to it tbh, if it was just for GM's they'd make it inaccessible.

I'm still wondering if shamens and warlocks are able to swim at sea without getting fatigued. I know undeads do, even with their prolonged underwater breathing. It would be interesting and nice to know that the Druids can go somewhere no-one else can't!
Can't wait to explore the vast depths, see what nasties are down there!

Is that just in rivers or lakes or have you tried going out into the ocean (as in trying to swim to the other island!) then it comes up and you drown
