The useful relationship-preserving tool
I thought this thread could be a useful relationship-preserving tool for those of us with better half’s that need to be kept sweet so that we may indulge and invest our time in the socially absorbing and cerebrally satisfying phenomenon that is World Of Warcraft. you-
-herNow I’m not claiming my tips will work for everyone but with enough input we might find some useful if not amusing. I have posted this in haste and shall add more of my own tips later on but please feel free to give us some of your most effective tips and tricks of manipulation, FOR THE HORDE! Here are some I find particularly useful to keep the beast within her from awakening to often. 1. Always make sure the washing up is done (dried and put away) the less ammo they have the better! 2. Buy another TV if your pc is the current box with the view of the world, this will immediately free up a large chunk of potential adventuring during the ritual chain watching of Holly oaks, Corrie, Emmerdale and Benders (EastEnders) and any-other soap opera I may have missed (some of which I used to watch in a glazed state of semi-consciousness). 3. Chocolates to keep her quietly contented, always good however be careful as these can easily transform into potential in-game munchies for you, and they’re not for you! 4. Running a bath for her on your own initiative softens the missus nicely for those late night team quests such as RFC and WC. 5. To be continued, I have a few prototype ideas to be put into action, however some require a certain level of timing. Rafe.

Nice one.
I think the odd "I love you" here and there helps too, and a nice big cuddle when you say it. If you do this though, don't run straight to the computer afterwards, leave it at least 2 minutes!
If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

i want to play
[quote=Allen]Nice one.
A friend of mine had two great ideas 1 wait until she falls a sleep (snoring is a good sign) you must think of WOW in bed otherwise you might fall asleep too then go down stairs or into the other room and play for as long as you want. 2 buy her flowers to get her in a good mood and also buy her a book everyone knows a woman cannot resist a good read (jackie collins in a good start) me well my wife's a Teacher and she thinks all games are the Devels Spawn and they do nothing for you.... ( I did play EQ one for 3 years and turned into a hermit) so i come to work and cry as every one is 15 levels higher and counting |
