Finally something had to give, it just got to much for me and the other half both wanting to play the game at the same time. Around 8pm last night we finally desided that something had to give. The credit card. Time to buy another PC, so she can both play at the same time woohoo. Rang around a bit and managed to find somewhere that still had stock of the game and went and got it straight away. Just finished ordering parts to build her a pc. Slipped an x800pro vivo into the order so she can have my 9800pro in the new shuttle im building and i can have something a little more fun. hopefully the pc im buildin will play it ok, getting the following

SN45GV3 shuttle
barton 2500-M
512 dual channel ram
80gig hdd
x800 pro vivo(for the main pc)

what you guys think?

just a shame it looks like one of us is going to have to start there characters again. bet you can't guess who lost that discussion

That system will have no problems playing WOW. The only thing i would have changed would be the memory. 1Gb. But thats just me. Enjoy.

yeah i thought about puttin 1gig of ram in, but decided against it for now. Gotta a gig in the other pc so if we do that up again i can just transfer it over

I alt-tab out quite a lot, and notice that I'm using around 900meg for WoW and a few other apps (mIRC, etc), so 1Gb might be nice.

I would definately recommend 1gb of RAM, I used to play with 512mb and in some places the game would noticeably slow down.
