Which Class/Character would be hardest to start with...
...and yet be most potent at mammoth levels?
Is it stil the tradional weakling Mage, as per D&D where they are truly dire at early levels, and yet all powerfull at max level. Same rules? here in WoW |

heh dont think mages are crap at low lvl - they still pack one of the bigest DPS of the classes even at low lvl - only problem is you dont have your crowd control spells yet so if you mess up and pull multiple mobs (and you will) you will soon be lying on the floor in ur own blood

Priest is the hardest character to start with IMO, but it doesn't become massivly stronger when you hit cap, the advantages are that you will have an easy time finding groups as a well played priest is great for a group because they are the best healers in the game. That's the reason my secondary character is a priest

Yep priest is definitely hardest imo, Mage has some awesome crowd control spells (polymorph, blink) and damage output is HUGE!, You must use these control spells to control the fight otherwise you will get into trouble.
Priest is a lot harder, in that sence but has the ability to self heal (add + 2, + 8, +20, +32 stamina which is awesome) and set sheilds etc to absorb damage. Again most of difficulty in this game is learning how to play the character in different situations. It does mean the difference between living and dying. The other thing is learning quickly when running is needed, this may even be when you start a fight, pull 2 enemies of same lvl as you and without confident high DPS output to kill one quickly you may already be at the point where you need to run. nope, Rogue is one of the best charaters in game - HUGE DPS output, dual wield and Agil massively increase Critical hit rate, plus class posions etc.

I play a rogue as my main character and I found it nice and easy to gain levels, it's not a steep learning curve as as the begining you have two abilities (apart from the normal 'fight') Sinister Strike, a blow te deals weapon damage plus 'X' and awards one combo point, and Eviscerate, that deals damage per combo point (5 combo points is the maxium). And it's biult up from there every few levels, and currently I have two full action bars of buttons!

My bottom bar is filled with abilities, then I have leatherworking/first aid/poisions/picklock/summon mount/ and the rest of my abilities that are used in both stealth and normal in the top bar. My stealth bar is about 2/3rds full.
