Exclamation A quick note from me.

Guys, i've got rather frustrated with things over the last few days. What i enjoy about WoW is just being able to play. I hate having do this quest at 8pm on the dot etc. Everyone one here wants different things, that much is clear to me.

From now on i'm just going to organise stuff in game with the people that want to do the same quests as one of my characters. I'll help out people where I can. The whole point of this game is enjoyment and i personally don't want the regimented nature of having to dictate teams, looting rules to people when i group with them. As such i'm now going to be much less tolerant of people asking for items NOW. If people want an item they can put the request in and I will make it in my own time.

If this is deemed as behaviour not becoming an officer then i offer to step down and just play as a guild member.

I have to add that this is not aimed at any single person, nor should it be read as an attack on anyone. This is very much me deciding what is best for me for a change and making sure I enjoy this game.

    Cheers
    TiG

Although I tend to agree with you TiG, I think the arangements for hard quests is necessary for people below lvl 30. You guys who are late 30's and well into their 40's are obviously more experienced than us (i.e. played Beta a lot) and you know what needs to be done and how to do it, grouping wise. With the rest of us, mainly in our 20's, it's a lot more difficult due to time restrictions and, as you've said, lack of "bond" between guild members meaning people will just show up as and when they please.

I myself was about 20mins late last night due to my g/f and I ended up being replaced in the group by a non guild member!! I don't want that to happen in the future but I'll be honest, I thought we were meeting at 9pm so didn't have dinner ready!

Also, on another point, if we don't have these arangements we get to a point, like Sunday, where we had a load of people in Hillsbrad all with different quests at different levels, and people would every now and then run back to Tarren Mill to complete and get the next quest. That was a nightmare. If we had all waited like I suggested we do, we could have done them all together and wasted a lot less time, and also died a lot less.

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

If your refering to the muddle of last night, the teams were organised in the forums prior to the meet. Then some people formed their owned groups etc which added to the confusion. I cant see any problem with prior organisation of group events and organsing of teams - make things a lot simpler in game (Or is suppose too)

However, yes it probably seems a bit of a task having 3 guys and each person having requests for different items, specially as they are respectable levels. Perhaps a forum pm may be better or a WOW mail............. what u reckon?

As for dictating looting rules - no comment

I think my point is madocks that i have a problem. Me, not anyone else. I'm saying i don't want to HAVE to impose rules, because i want people i'm playing with to be fair and working for each other.

Worked a treat tonight to do Blackfathom deeps. not planned scripted or anything and was smoother than the other 3 times i've done it.

I expect too much of people and for that i'm sorry.

I have to agree that I find it more fun to just group up and do some quests than try and solo but I also do not like having to be somewhere at a certain time. I am looking forward to using meeting stones in the new patch.
