Without a dishonour system it's just going to result in a gank-fest..

XR is getting bad enough as it is, without these idiots getting rewarded for it..

oh, and if you don't keep up with the ganking you lose your honour points and your pvp rewards too.. spot the catch 22..

Having read a little about the PvP and BG system it seems mainly geared around killing the opposition - you contribute to damaging an enemey, when it dies you are rewarded.

What about Priests. A lot of time they may merely be supporting attackes, ie healing those doing the damage. Haven't seen enough to say whether this contribution counts.

Killing grey people just gives no honour points, so it's not encouraging people to gank, just not discouraging.

of course theres problems its to large a system for there not to be. But towards ganking u get less and less exp each time so it becomes pointless quite quickly to just stand over a corpse etc..

BG's are aimed at doing Qs with groups to gain the honour i think more than just randomly going out and finding targets...

npc's wont give u honour anymore if i scanned it right.

It should be good either way but i think there doing the right thing by Not putting in dishonours in just yet. They have no idea how things will balance out and have said they'll be watching it closly. cant ask more than that really.

Yes Azog, NPCs will not give honour points so people attacking towns will only gain honour from the people within their level range that they kill.

I bet it still won't stop the ganking happening, just beacuse some people enjoy ruining gameplay for others. That only counts for PvP servers though.

There's not really anything you can do to stop ganking, there will always be people who like to prove their superiority by beating up helpless opponents.
