I played the beta of CoH, it was OK, but not the sort of game I'd pay to play. I thought the missions were too limited, i.e. you only had one person to do the from and once you'd finished you had to move to another area, and the options for skills/spells were too open to start off with, i.e. too many options and routes to go down making it confusing.

Also, once you got out of the beginner areas you had to group due to the amount of mobs grouping up on you made it virtually impossible to solo, which I like to do every now and then.

It looked good graphically and you had a great choice in customising your characters though, where as WoW doesn't have the uber fantastic graphics that people seem to think are important. It really doesn't look bad at all and sometimes you are left stunned at the gorgeous scenery!

However, WoW has gripped me. The game play is the best I have ever known. It's a game I, and many others here, have ploughed many hours into and we still go back for more and more! The goals are set quite high, but possible if you put in the time and now PvP is becoming more popular, even amongst those who previously didn't want to take part in it! The diversity and the size of the world is immense, I have seen loads of places, both Alliance and Horde, yet I know I still haven't seen half of it yet.

The pro's to WoW are, well, there's too many to mention () but there is only one con; if you like it, and the chances are if you like MMORPG's you will, then you will be hooked. I think that's why Zak won't touch it, coz he knows he will be drawn in like the rest of us!

I love Eve, but as I said, I spend too much time in WoW. Before WoW, I was playing Eve loads, still have around 300m in cash and ships/equipment, about 4 chars with over 3m Skill Points each (and still learning ) and was just venturing out to "unsafe" space! Funny thing is, nearly the whole of my corp, Transmission From The Satellite Heart, has buggered off to play WoW and the rest left due to inactivity of the corp!
