    Warsong Gulch (Flag capping and travel forms)

    Well last night I lost my first Warsong Gulch fight, 3-0 to the alliance
    WHY was that, well my favourite character of the alliance Veznar was playing on the alliance side, I mean this guy is stupidly good. Not seen anyone beat him in 1 on 1 combat.

    But what i hadn't realises is that you can cap the flag and yet still turn into travel form!. Get flag, get outside, change to cheetah and BOOST across the map back to the alliance base....

    You can't poly a druid, they just poly straight out, they can root ppl chasing them if required, have ability to instant heal.

    But i can also travel form and run with the flag, 46% speed with rank 7 equipment, and i have to admit i think its a massive oversight. Travel form imo shouldnt be allowed if you are "carrying" a flag.

    Thoughts?

    Totally agree, it's like Paladins, they make it too imbalanced.

    Of course it shouldn't, what the hell are you deemed to be 'carrying' the flag with. And nobody say 'between his teeth' - it's a dirty big flag not a cocktail umbrella.

    I agree to that one.. how can a wolf carry a flag? in its mouth?? its not really a small flag..

    I went there for the first time last night and stayed there for hours and hours! every time we went on (we being the horde group) we were always 2 men down from the allis but we still managed to win every match we went in

    My last match was a bit touch and go as both sides had the flag on 2 all and were both at each others bases but we managed to only just get our flag back and win

    These battlegrounds are so much fun *well done Blizzard* and i dont think im going to level any more im ganna be a BG GEEK

    Travel form for flag carrying - well done blizz well done

    Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
    Enwrought with golden and silver light,
    The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
    Of night and light and the half-light,
    I would spread the cloths under your feet:
    But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
    I have spread my dreams under your feet;
    Tread softly, because you tread on my dreams.

    Stoo's system
    yipe, that's a rather large oversight...

    I presume you can't carry the flag and summon a horse

    I'm surprised they haven't put a wind rider at the flag point for you

    I'm loving these battlegrounds!

    SO far I've only had one loss, part due to Veznar..

    I have to say druids are very very good flag runners..

    I also seem to have found the calling for the warlock.. I am normally among the highest scoring players. I've found a great tactic of getting above the flag room and dotting the alliance below!

    Warlocks also make good flag protection, as I can dot runners very effectivly.

    Best thing to do though is get in there with a couple of guildmembers who you play with often.. Velan and I tore up the alliance last night because we knew how to fight with each other..
