    UBRS Bosses....

Went to UBRS last night and have to say was stunned at how hard the bosses are. Sure the group was 15 Man, 3 Priests, 2 shaman, 1 Druid as healers, but even so it was hard as hell.

Killed a big dog like fluffy from the harry potter films which was funny as hell and managed to keep all alive went like clockwork, Even did The big dragon Drakefire which was an awful lot harder and resulted in 9/15 dying heh.

Funniest thing was being dead and watching all the cloth wearers running around like mad trying to keep alive.

Tanks lasted for about 6 minutes before our group priest and i went out of mana. figured it was my turn and took my position up close and personal. Not expecting much healing and i didnt last long even with my 5000+ armour at the time.

The stuff he dropped was awesome tho. Dreadmist chest piece, blue necklace, pauldrons of the elements.

Well worth trying UBRS, i forgot how enjoyable instances are with all this PVP.

We currently only have one third of the key and are not yet close to being able to get 15 people together for UBRS

Been strugling to get groups for the 5 man instances at the moment, need more active players (healers) at lvl 60.

I actually hate UBRS with a passion. Too many runs (16 now) through it getting blood for onyxia keys will do that for you. Of course it's quicker now that he drops 2-4 bloods instead of just one.

CPU Temps: Forget MBM, if it don't crash it ain't too hot.

Tig - are you still PVP specced ???

Its recomended that shamans are restoration specced for raids / high level instances. If all mana users were in a group with a shaman, he could drop the mana tide totem (240 mana every 3 seconds) and give all priests an extra 1000 odd mana.

The way i intend to go

Yep still massively pvp specced, Again not ideal but the leader of the raid knew what he wanted as was happy enough to have me along. Even with my pvp spec i've got more mana than most of the other shamans in guild.

I did what was asked and it was ideal. Mana Tide totem wasn't going to be possible in the instance anyway needed fire resist totem up otherwise really would have been wiped.

It'll be a looooooooong time till I see the likes of these big instances... shame really that Blizzard made all the fun bits for level 60's only!

If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

On the other hand I think blizzard didn't make enough fun bits for level 60s. We need more!

I don't believe that for one second.....

Did UBRS again last night, The Beast is so funny to kill. Have to say even not being restoration spec'd and having a 5 person group to look after of 2 warriors, 1 rogue, 1 hunter and me, i managed to keep all alive apart from on Drakewing. Where both warriors died in his AOE attack with does 4000dmg over 12 seconds.

Still we had only 5 people die last night compared to 9 the night before. Strange as we had 1 priest, 2 shaman, 1 Druid healing last night compared to, 3 priests, 2 Shaman and 1 druid the night before.

I think you certainly become attuned to what you need to do, in these instances after a couple of runs.

Drakewing? Drakefire? You mean General Drakkisath?

And yes, they get easier with practice, last UBRS run I did we had zero deaths and in fact the whole thing felt easy.
