Well once i get my BB, I'll be back on again, stil havent got my first char to lvl 60 yet, (I got the game on for day 1 release in europe), I just dont have thetime with the other games i play oh and that really annoying thing called RL, .

wands rock i can kill any mob my level using level 1 frost bolt for snare, wand and repeat only level 33 but its got the same dps as a 1h mace for a level 45 and rox

makes grinding a bit longer if u cant be bothered waiting for your mana but never mind apart from that love mages! lol frost mage now got shatter rank 5 and oooomg! in combo with high critical dmg is very sweet but can sometimes drain mana depending on how much of a higher level the toon is, i can take out 33 elites with a full mana bar and it always ends up with me wanding the last bit of health from them

hehe.. just wait till you PvP with a frost mage... ye got nerfed since everyone went from fire->frost after all the STUPIDLY high +fire resist equipment..
even without +frost resist they get resisted all the time :/

I've stuck with fire for insane amounts of damage instant casted pyro crit for 900dmg last night (+40% DoT with ignite), followed by a 550dmg fireblast crit (+40% dot again)..

What level are you? That's not a lot of dmg for a 60 Fire Mage, I do that as a 58 Frost Mage!

The thing is, with a Frost Mage is you get a lot longer to live with Ice Barrier and Ice Block. I use them both constantly to help, and it sure does. Gives you more time to do damage (get a 50% bonus to crit rate on frozen targets which means 900-1000 dmg to all targets with CoC if they're all frozen ) and uses less mana IMO. As a Fire Mage I used to be out of mana after one or two fights, now I can last 3 or 4 and still survive with Ice Barrier and/or Block.

And my Frost spells certainly don't get resisted that much, not as much as my Fire spells anyway!

hehe yea fire is good for that im in the middle of PvP, i dont anyone would understand how helpful Ice Block is when you are in the middle of a fight and a rogue backstabs or ambushes you and you just freeze on the spot its pure class! also, if i catch a rogue out of stealth there is no chance and rogues that use cheap shot dont stand a chance, some rogues that are pure dps some times become a good fight but if all goes wrong (which it doesnt normally against rogues coz they can never catch me ) then i can sheep and run

on the resistance side, at my level ive not noticed any difference in anything pvp =/ maybe its just for the higher levels

said earlier in the thread, lvl46 .. now.. it is a lot of dmg for that level
managed to take down a lvl54 with some luck.
edit: well I'm waiting for the talent review.. they must know by now it's stupid having so much fire resist equipment, that & wait until they release the frost-based raid instance

I've found rogues fairly easy lately in BG, with a combination of blink, CoC, FN, IAE, FB.. especially easy if I have PoM, (in the best case I have time to sheep, charge up a pyro, then PoM a fireball followed by fireblast ).

i can imagine thats a pretty sick combo for dmg pyro alone is very nice but am not a big fan for sheep then attack really, mostly coz my sheep spell is not on my hotkey bar and has no allocated hotkey, i find that if in real touble i can FN, use highest rank of Frost bolt which now does 250 normal hits and around 400 crits then CoC which again can do about 150 dmg or around 300 crit and only at level 33 at the moment, that normally leaves a non twinked rogue with about 10% health left, just enough for a fire blast and if it needs any more a quick flick of the wand (which normally does around 50dmg a hit) can sort the rest of the health whiles they are either running away or running at me

if ive not got any of my cooldowns like CoC or FN which i normally catch with about 10 seconds of cooldown half way though a fight i can Ice Block wait for the cooldown to finish use FN again then blink away and bring the pain

i have now lost about 25+ ice dmg from my items as i have upgraded alot of them to +int instead of dmg so im not doni as much dmg but can now afford to do an extra couple of spells in there which is handy and i now look like a mage aswell! i use to look like a rogue =\ then again it may be the Zealot sword that does that took me long enough to find it! well worth it tho int on an sword rox!

i got my 3rd toon up to level 30 last night a combat/stun lock based rogue hehe cant wait to get my 10% chance to stun on hit! (5% on both mace weapons weapons)

3rd toon past 30 i should say, got 49 shaman and 33 mage rogues are more fun tho!

keep meaning to play my lvl7 rogue.. but can never be bothered, I hate being low level
+ I'm enjoying pvp atm even if alliance are /always/ outnumbered and never win (played AB about 20 times, alliance have won twice....)
