We now have a sliding scale - which means class items cost a set amount which reduces with each next drop until its the same as minimum bid. The player with most dkp has the priority to take the item but he can pass.
Cross class items are free to bid on. ![]() Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors. |

We looked at a reducing scale system and decided we didnt like some ppl getting things alot cheaper just because they got the items later on. Friends guild use a zero point system where it resets every time u take an item which sounds like it would really reward regular raiders

Our starting bid is 1.5 times bigger than minimum - so its not a lot cheaper by a long way. Plus if yuo get to use it longer it makes sense to pay more. If you want to pay less you can pass for others to have it first.

Surely people will just pass on the less "popular" items waiting for them to be cheaper, then the people with lower dkp end up who do take them end up with even lower dkp. Zero sum is by far the least unfair system.

I don't really understand you. What is the purpose of DKP? To buy items with. Now if you don't feel like having an item - someone else is going to be glad to have it. If you feel that the price is too high you are very welcome to pass. If noone wants an item at this price - then its not worth having at all and will be sharded. Guildbank will use nexus shards to good effect.
Somehow people who would pay 200dkp for tier 2 pants are afraid to pay 90 on the new system. Some however will be glad to pay 90 and take it. It does make people think before they go for a minor upgrade too. ![]() Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors. |

Sounds like it would just lead to more stuff being sharded that could have been used if people werent afraid to spend their DKP, surely even a small upgrade is better than the item being sharded.

If people on 300-500 dkp are adraid to pay 30 for a small upgrade then it deserves to be sharded. In any case - we had this working for a while and it's been fine so far. Stopped allegations of trying to raise prices and stopped inflation for classes with few drops.

You did say that the cross class items are bidded on freely, right?
In any case - it seems to work rather well after all the trouble we had with free bidding. Makes bidding go faster too. ![]() Tough on mirrors, tough on the causes of mirrors. |

Woot! Got raggie to 13% in phase one today (and we had about 7-8 people from a feeder quild with us in blues). He was so surprised that his eye popped out
All we need now is more bloody ingots and a helluva lot of arcanite.

I think the reason is that we had a lot of ranged dps that fight. Also we tried with curse of recklessness for the first time - if your tanks and healers are up to it I suggest you try that too.

13 % is some going
, we have managed 7% before first sun pop. That was a raid with 10 warriors in it ![]() Our fastest MC clearance stands at 2h 32m so far, quite happy with that
