    I said on the post above.

    If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.

    It's more to keep the casual players leveling times closer to the people that play near constantly. In China they have an actual system to stop people playing for long periods of time, after X hours (3/4?) is cuts the drops you get in half, another hour and you get stats cut by 50%, etc. Not sure if they cut you off eventually.

    Been clean for about 2 weeks now. I don't think I can see myself going back to WoW even when WotLK is out, I'm just not sure I can live my life around a game anymore (raiding wise I mean, it's pretty much impossible to raid when YOU want unless you're lucky enough to get home before 6/7pm all the time) and nothing else interests me enough about the game to pay for it (PvP, solo and grinding etc).

    i have been playing this game for nearly a month and tbh i dont see the addictiveness in the game. its a good game but come on. how can you seriously get addicted to this game let alone ANY game. TBH the game is abit boring as each quests focuses on grinding and killing so far

    And in that month have you done any raiding? I doubt it. The high level stuff is what makes the game addictive IMO, the constant pursue of perfecting your chars gear, that is what is addictive!

    Well I'm not clean mate, still levelling my druid (who's at level 33 now )

    Although I have so little time to play at the moment with work, the gym and spending time with my girlfriend I'm finding it very enjoyable.

    P.S Where's the gold you promised me! ;-)

    Re: Who's still playing WoW then?

    I`ve managed to get away from it now

    I hit lvl 65 and went into blades edge area. The quests I have are a lot of grinding ones and I just feel I need a bit of a break. Going to star away for a month then I`ll come back

    I sent you 2 a while back, have you got through that already?

    Re: Who's still playing WoW then?

    There's a new content patch coming before the WotLK, to include new talents, and some spell/ability re-works. Like what happened with the first expansion.
    With the release of Wrath of the Lich King approaching, we wanted to provide you with some important information. In preparation for the expansion, we will be issuing a new content patch in the coming weeks. Much like the patch made available shortly before The Burning Crusade's release, this content patch is designed to bridge current game content with that of the expansion and will contain some exciting changes and additions.

    We have outlined some of the larger features scheduled to release with the patch below:

    * New class spells and talents.
    * Barbershops in capital cities.
    * Zeppelin towers outside of Orgrimmar and Tirisfal Glades.
    * Stormwind Harbour.
    * In-game guild calendar.
    * Hunter pet skill revamp.
    * New profession: Inscription.
    * Two brand-new Arenas featuring challenging new layouts, terrain hazards, and moving obstacles:
    o o o Orgrimmar Arena.
    o o o Dalaran Arena.

    As mentioned above, this is not a comprehensive list, just some of the major highlights. We’ll post the full patch notes as soon as they’re available.

    Regarding Inscription, please note that all Burning Crusade players will be able to select Inscription as one of their two professions and level up to a skill level of 375 with it. Upon the release of Wrath of the Lich King, players who purchase and install the expansion will be able to continue leveling in Inscription and the other professions beyond 375.

    From the maps it looks fairly big, so I'm guessing they'll put in other routes as well as to Northrend.

    Also, can't wait for Titans Grip on my warrior in the new talents It's going to look hilarious, but I need to find myself another 2 handed weapon first though.

    I'm still playing WoW, mainly because of the triple XP group party thing (boxing). Only until the WAR open beta starts up this week for Europe though

    I'm gonna try and get the one from pvp to go with my Stormherald, should have plenty of time to get the honour points since I don't think it'll be out for a while.
