    Re: Who's still playing WoW then?

    Always wondered how much it costs to run WoW. Now you know, $200m per year, yikes that a large sum of money for a game.

    Yeah but they take roughly £90 Million Per month in subcriptions so in the grand scheme of things its not really that much.

    One reason i actually posted the costings was that some people in the past have asked where does the subscription money go to. Most people know that Blizzard are making plenty from WoW. But having tried Warhammer Online i have a bit more of an understanding on where ours subs are going

    Steve A. Good luck with the guild recruitment, should be plenty of people around now that the expansion has a release date

    yeah we're all dirty horde as they look better than the alliance characters, plus the undead resemble myself as I'm not a morning person

    Drop a whisper to the names above, or myself as I'm usually on as one of the following ;

    Xerius, Corpsemaker, Wildmonkey, Sydewinder

    you can transfer pve-pvp now aswell, so anyone can transfer their character anywhere... if you pay that is! i've stopped playing now that WAR has come out, having played wow for 3years, i am enjoying something slightly different and fresh faced.

    Wow, that's a bad decision on Blizz's behalf! Easily level up a char on a PvE server and tfr it to a PvP server!

    Anyone else who has given WoW up lately also feeling tempted to come back when WotLK is out? I'm still not sure about it, but I would love to level my Feral Tonk Druid to 80 and play him solely, and only possibly have a Shammy alt to level up as Ele or Resto, especially with the new gear changes (healing and dmg gear being able to be used for different specs without changing).

    If cars had followed the same developmental path as computers, a Rolls Royce would cost £60, get a million miles per gallon and explode once a year, killing everyone inside.
