Lineage 2: It all starts here for us! (not 56k friendly)
Well guys, Sair and Zak, tonight, delve headlong into the sword wielding world of Lineage 2.
Apart from a long long catologue of pains in the arse trying to create an account, download the damn game and get a serial number, buy a code and get mmy credit card authorised....it's been pretty painless really ![]() And so....to the excitement ![]() God I LOVE the anticipation of a new game The hopes, the dreams, the long drawn out plans and debates about character name, and the colour of facial hair (if I'm allowed it) on our character.Keep ya fingers crossed.....and your leather scabbard loose. Tonight....we're going in

that was a fantastic nights gaming
![]() Met up a friend onlne, who stuck with us like glue to help us lvel up fast and not get whooped ![]() Don't normally play like that, but with this gamem we had some fast leveling up to do to get up to his speed. The difference a good sword makes is unreal ![]() The visuals are really very good indeed the background sounds are pretty accurate for direction. SO far, I'm very very impressed Loads to do, lots of opertunities....and I can't spell that, can I?

and the translucent effect as you get the camera down or behind something is pretty smooth.
Run very well on an X800. ![]() but more important it also runs on a fairly mundane spec pc. Last night we played for 2 hours on max settings on an nforce2 with 1gig PC3200, an XP 1600M at 2600 and a Radeon 9600 (non pro) |

scenery is great in places and very dull in others: The island you start on is pretty safe if you stay near the town, and the majority of these close-by monsters dont attack until you do:

I got me a securtiy guard
![]() a good mate who's played for a few months. But Sair is currently playing a new character and is safe so far ![]() Killing players is tricky, though not impossible, as the guards get the right hump if you do. |

hell.
i've been playing Auto Assault for the past few days (trial account) and enjoying it greatly. however, about half an hour ago, the Dungeon Siege phenomenon set in - whereby you sit and look at the screen and go "bloody hell, this is actually really boring and repetitive isn't it" and uninstall the bugger. it's really good fun, and the best MMO i've played, but when that feeling hits, there's nothing I can do to save it. bah

Sir Andrew of Fort Gilb's is a great friend of many years, and its grwat to be online with him
