WoW Realms
Hello peeps
![]() A couple of weeks ago I started the 10 day trial, via Fileplanet. I downloaded the client and (this is all slightly hazy) went through the process of creating an account etc. On chosing a realm, there were only 2 tabs: US and Oceanic. I chose Oceanic and 'Thaurissan'. I didnt really think about it as it was late and I wasnt expecting to really like it anyway. After my 10 days ran out I was really getting into it so subscribed. Only now after trying to get Flibb into it, I've found that there's a seperate Euro wow site that I can't log into, and that my choice of realms in game, dont include any euro ones. Anyone shed any light on the subject? |

I guess that fileplanet automatically gives you the US client which will only connect to the US realms.
If you then subscribed to the game on the account you used to trial, then you will have a US subscription ![]() Was it a free purchase? If so, I would suggest buying a 9.99 WoW EU game and starting again with your friend......playing on the US realms when you are in the EU is a serious PITA unless your a night or shift worker......I tried and gave up.....its too quiet once those yanks go to bed. |

Thx for your reply
Its a pain as I've only just subscribed. I've found that its been fine to play on ping wise and there have been quite a few ppl about. I'm more worried that if at any time I want to join a guild, that's when the problems arise. Is it not possible to transfer my account to a Euro one and then get the Euro client to play it on? |

Have a look at http://www.worldofraids.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3378 in terms of hacking your client version (it describes the process of making an EU client work on a US server, but it's the same principle)
That said it would be less hassle all round to do as you suggest - download the EU client from wow-europe.com and have your account transferred - drop the guys at http://www.blizzard.com/support/wowaa/?id=eSupport000 a line and they should be able to sort you out. |

Im gonna restart on a Euro server, I was an Ork Shaman and am considering choosing Alliance as I found a few friends are still playing. I just got to decide what class to be
Anyone recommend a fun class to play? |

Most classes are fun, it all depends on what you prefer.
I personally don't like the finger-wagglers and play hunter and warrior...hunter being the most fun, especially in PvP ![]() |

Looks like you made the mistake I did and download WOW from the US servers.
Download it from wow-europe.com or buy the £1.49 from Game. I was playing on the US servers till level 24. I then had to start from level 1 on the EU servers as you cant transfer your characters from US to EU. Doing all the same quests again is god damn annoying. |

I know what you mean, the last couple of nights I've logged on with the intention of only 30 mins, to sell a few things and perhaps a quick quest, but they end up being 4-5 hours straight (Much to the disgust of the Girlfriend).
Its the first time in over 2 years of being together, she's seen me addicted to a game like this, ... not impressed at all ![]() |

I personally have a warrior, wicked character, enjoying it very much. Also been levelling a warlock and a hunter, also both very cool ![]() |
