| Re: News - Corsair to launch low-latency 8GB DDR2 kit later this month Vista's Superfetch should enjoy it, even if you don't really need that much for your applications. And if you think 8GB is overkill... http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-119-OC ![]() Only the P45/43 chipsets support 16GB though IIRC...

| Re: News - Corsair to launch low-latency 8GB DDR2 kit later this month ATI 790GX also supports 16GB of RAM. TBH I was expecting 2x4GB on low latency ![]() I'm running 4x2GB GSkills for half a year already and they costed me only 110 quid |

| Re: News - Corsair to launch low-latency 8GB DDR2 kit later this month I use to be on a 16GB system doing alot of design work on Photoshop, and it was impossible to do it on a 4GB system as it would be too slow to even move images! Just ordered 8GB for my computer to support my needs in Photoshop a few days ago and should come tomorrow |

| Re: News - Corsair to launch low-latency 8GB DDR2 kit later this month Yes, daily. The memory controller is integrated into the chip, so it doesn't seem to be a simple case of relying on the northbridge any more ![]() I really hope it does too - I'm not convinced by the move to DDR3 yet given its price:ram size erformance just yet |
