Shame MS stopped making trackballs
Does anybody make them any more?
The one I have is perfect, but I've had to replace one of the micro-switches, and now another has broken so I need to fix it again.
Logitech and Kensington make them

looks a bit on the fat side to me. Optical works good enough I don't see many people forking out more for this.
Question is, will they work on a glass?
I know a few people who have their PC sat on glass work-tops and have to use a mouse-mat, even with the latest laser mice.

Any ideas on whether Microsoft are going to be licensing this technology or if anyone else is developing something similar? I like the idea but Microsoft mice are always uncomfortable to me...
Shame MS haven't yet catered for left handed users or better yet designed a version to be used in either hand like the old intellimouse.
So instead of buying a £3 mousemat we should buy a £60 mouse? my MX518 works on near enough everything still and even if it didnt i have never been satisfied with Microsoft mice, logitech ones are soo much more comfortable in your hand.
I want a new Trackball Explorer! Bring back trackballs! Please? Someone? (I have the Logitech Optical Trackman which is good enough, but there's been no progress for several years in trackball tech)...
