So is that case 2.5" or does it contain a 2.5" drive?

If it's the former, it probably contains a 1.8" drive, so capacity will be seriously limited.

It's looks don't float my boat at all though.

The shell, made from 0.8mm high-tensile-strength steel and measuring 85mm x 145mm x 20mm, can store a single 2.5in hard disk and is lined with vibration-absorbent padding
So I guess that means it holds a 2.5in drive.

    *edit* dammit ninjad by format.

Should you wish to unlock the enclosure, simply pass your unique dog tag across the front of the device and it'll let you in. In Win reckons it "protects your information in case it crosses enemy lines",
Nice theory, but obviously flawed in practice since it'd simply mean taking the dog tag too if someone wanted it.

Maybe I'm reading too much into this though, since it mentions it's military-themed.

@Format. How on earth did I miss that from the article? must read things closer in future.

It was what looked like screw holes in the side, made it look like it could be mounted in a 2.5" bay.

    Also, 0.8mm? is that all?
