Re: News - Cooler Master launches HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition chassis Has nobody else spotted it's missing the side fan (or anywhere to install one) ? That's a substantial minus on the functionality of an until-now well-ventilated case. I wouldn't spend more for a HAF without side fans, especially with a hothouse AMD inside.

Re: News - Cooler Master launches HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition chassis If they're going to make a 'limited edition', why couldn't they make a good looking one? Maybe gun metal shell with a charred (burned, still hot looking) red facade with the dragon logo on the side panel. I honestly think they have made the case look very tacky with just a simply red spray over. They could've been so much more creative and it would've justified a massive asking price if they could produce a really cool custom paintjob like Scan and some other system builders do. Shame really...

Re: News - Cooler Master launches HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition chassis Have you seen how much those lacquer-fitted Stackers go for? It's like a plastic vinyl that costs them $10 to apply and they charge £500+ for them. Let's not have limited edition cases cost that much, not with the build quality of Coolermasters anyway.

I know people will think I've gone cracked.... But... I kinda like it, almost makes me want to do a Phenom II build. Would sit under my desk quite nicely.... Almost... /me looks at his thin wallet. Originally Posted by Agent

Re: News - Cooler Master launches HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition chassis One word - overclocking. A good fan is night and day for chipset temperatures. It was physically impossible to run my Quad CF setup in my mid tower case, not for the GPUs overheating or the space, but because the chipset got too hot. With the 230mm side fan the HAF was alright, but it's sublime now I've swapped that out for four high speed Scythe 120mms.

| Re: News - Cooler Master launches HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition chassis AMD chipsets don't heat up with CPU overclocking, all the CPU and RAM clock gating is done on the CPU itself. So that's not a problem. Originally Posted by Agent

Re: News - Cooler Master launches HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition chassis Yeah, as I was going to mention (but forgot) it's only really a caveat for Intel CPUs, though the volts required to get a Phenom II to high clock speeds are a little daunting, most of that is taken care of with top ventilation (which I also replaced)

Re: News - Cooler Master launches HAF 932 AMD Limited Edition chassis For reference, I just ran a test with my side fans and my two 4870X2s. Lower Pair: Off Upper Pair: Off Idle temperature at 27% fan speed: 95ºC+ <emergency fan control over-ride activated> Auto fan speed: 32% Lower Pair: 1100rpm Upper Pair: off Idle temperature at 27% fan speed: 76ºC Auto fan speed: 27% "There's a tonne of cool airflow coming in all along the front from top to bottom" Apparently not.
