Intel preps MMX2 extensions for next gen Xscale processor
Remember when MMX first came out on the Pentium [Insert Intel jingle here] Processor? Remember how at the time, the only program to use MMX was a game from UBISoft called "POD"? Ah, the good old days. Well, MMX2 is on the way, but this time it's for use on mobile solutions. From Tom's Hardware:
