Europe broadband surpasses Americas

More Europeans have broadband than Americans. It's official! We're still behind Asia Pacific, however.

"Europe has outrun the Americas for the first time in history and became the second largest broadband market in the world," TelecomPaper said in a note.

Net additions of broadband homes in Europe were greater than in the two other regions, growing around twice as fast.

No mention of the little old UK and how much of Europe's broadband market we make up, but I don't think we'll have had the fastest broadband uptake of the EU.
