Eight OEMs, retailer agree to AMD discovery requests

AMD's question for competitive justice continues. Earlier this week AMD filed discovery requests against some of the major companies that they referred to in their complaint filed with the Delaware District Court. The Inquirer reports that some of these companies are cooperating.
Nine firms, including Best Buy, have agreed to cooperate with AMD so far, while others are treading water and one, Toshiba, has refused to talk to the firm's lawyers.

The nine companies are Sony, Sun, Acer, Circuit City, Gateway, Lenova, NEC-CI, Rackable and Tech Data. Each agreed, said AMD, at a minimum, to preserve the documents of the custodians listed "while some have agreed to broader preservation".
If talks break down with companies, however, they'll start throwing subpoenas around. We'll keep following the AMD Vs. Intel case and continue to bring you news on the latest developments.

Well you can easily see why some companies are doing this.

They will probably Sue intel aswell if this works out in AMDs favour for loss of revenue.
