Wanted: IT Staff for 2012 Olympics
Following London's successful bid to host the Olympic games, lots more planning is now required. Some two thousand IT volunteers may be required to get the games up and running, with work starting on the technology infrastructure as early as next year! ZDNet reports:

Athens used volunteers - some were paid, most were not. They also used quite a few of the army recruits from their obligatory draft. I doubt they would not pay the volunteers something if in for the long haul.
